Cannondale CAAD8 56cm Road Bike 2×10 speed w. Upgrades – Ultegra Wheels, 105 kit. For sale is a used lightweight Cannondale CAAD8 road bike with upgrades. Ideal for training or racing. Good quality road bike if you don’t want to spend out too much! Upgraded from new spec, some original Cannondale components have been replaced with quality Shimano parts (see list below). A pair of top quality Shimano Ultegra wheels are also fitted, running smooth and true (within the odd mm); brake surfaces are marked but have miles left, wear indicators still visible. Tiagra shifters do the job nicely, there’s the usual scratches but nothing overly ugly. They also operate the 105 callipers which are good stoppers. There’s the inevitable marks and paint flaws on the frame from use (some flaking under bottom bracket shell, which is usual in an area exposed to the elements, but of no concern) and superficial rust on the odd metal bit, but looks generally tidy. Loads of spacers on the fork steerer to hone fit. The Omega cranks spin on BB30 bearings which are smooth in operation. Two Cannondale bottle cages are fitted. There’s some old SPD compatible pedals which work but you’ll likely want to replace these. Size is 56cm (centre of BB to top of seat tube). See geometry chart for sizing. Would suit 5’11″ – 6’1″ rider, or thereabouts. This is a 2012 model – it’s well presented and in good working order but it’s had a life already, avoid if you want pristine new-ness!
