For sale is a 1993 Cannondale R700. This bike was originally supplied with bull horns and down tube shifters but as been converted to a drop bar with the 8 speed Claris R2000 shifters which makes for safer and more enjoyable riding whilst still keeping that retro feel and frame geometry. This bike has had a new chain, sprocket, stem conversion, stem drop bar, bar tape, cables outers & inners, shifters and a new Cannondale seat. It retains the original seatpost, Shimano 105 derailleurs, crankset, brakes, hubs and original rims. This is for you if you want something that looks amazing, as you can see from the pictures. There is no size on the frame. It fits me and I’m 6 foot. Because of the more classic geometry I don’t think it would suit anyone much taller as it’s quite an aggressive position, it just looks fast doesn’t it. I would say anyone from 5’6 to 6′. If you would like any specific measurements please ask. The bike has a few chips and scratches but all quite minor and in better condition that you might expect for a bike that is 30 years old. It’s a rare bike that doesn’t come up very often. I would prefer collection but I can get a quote courier if required.
