For sale is my lovely Daccordi Explosive! Italian Carbon framed road bike. Size 54cm, fitted with Shimano Ultegra Di2 groupset and Mavic Ksyrium Exalith Pro wheelset. For those not aware, Daccordi is one of the older Italian bicycle manufacturers, having a 20 year head start over the likes of Colnago, De Rosa, and Pinarello (Bianchi and Willier are older still). Unlike any of these brands, Daccordi still keep their bikes Italian in every way, sourcing materials from Italy, and building and painting them at their factory in Tuscany. So no Far Eastern imported frames manufactured in bulk and then resold, but lovingly hand crafted frames from this (still) family run business. This bike has covered 5,400km based on my Strava feed, with the groupset having been upgraded to Di2 about 4,000km ago. The chain has also been changed on a regular basis to minimise wear on other components – so it has been well maintained throughout. There are a couple of small blemishes as you would expect on a bike that has been ridden, the only noticeable one really is a chip on the seat stay which I have shown in the photo. There are tiny rub marks on the quick release skewers, and a very tiny mark on the left hand shifter where it has been parked up outside a cafe, but it has not been crashed or damaged in any way. This bike has served me very well, and is very fast, responsive and of course light, having taken me up Joux Plane, Ventoux and other Alpine classic climbs plus taken part in the Etape du Tour. Weight as photographed is 8.15kg. I’m 5’10″ and I estimate this would be perfect for anyone between 5’7″ and 5’11. It has therefore been stored and unused this past year. Spec is as follows. Tyres Specialized Turbo Pro Gripton – 25mm, with plenty of life and very few marks. Groupset Full Shimano Ultegra Di2 6870 groupset, comprising – 170mm 50/34 cranks, medium cage Di2 derailleur, 11-32 cassette, front Di2 derailleur, integral seat post battery, Di2 shifters, control unit, etc. Finishing kit FSA Alloy compact 420mm handlebars, 3T ARX II Pro 90mm +-6 degree alloy stem, 3T Ionic 25 Pro alloy seatpost, unmarked Fizik bar tape, Specialized Romin Evo 155mm saddle.
