Initially, one will not find the brake housing on the rear assembly of the Night Hawk, but there are not only optical reasons for the “hidden” mounting on the chainstays. We have beefed up rigidity in this area so vibrations from braking can be kept to a minimum. The tapered headtube with its semi-integrated ball bearings ensures maximum safety when steering. Because we are using the Tapered steerer tube not only steering stability is enhanced, but the driving forces and vibrations can also be better diverted to the frame through the downwardly widened shaft.
