This being the 4 series, it is built with a less stiff carbon fibre, making it more suitable to the average rider, meaning, a more comfortable ride over longer distances. This easily compares to something like a venge, or Propel from Giant, if you are looking for an aero bike alternative. The bike has been hardly used and the list of work done to the bike includes. Bottom Bracket Check (incredibly Smooth). Bottom Bracket Clean and Greasing. Full Strip Down Rebuild. Due to the lack of use, barely anything needed to be done to the bike, as all the components had little to no wear. The specs are as follows. Frame: Trek Madone (Size 56cm). Shifters: Shimano Ultegra 6800 (11 speed). Derailleurs: Shimano Ultegra 6800 (11 speed). Front Brakes: Shimano Ultegra 6800. Rear Brakes: Shimano Ultegra 6800. Chainset: Shimano Ultegra 6800 50/34 (11 speed). Cassette: Shimano Ultegra 6800 11/28 (11 speed). Chain: New Sram PC-1110. Seat Post: Bontrager Carbon. There are virtually no marks on the frame and is a real credit to its previous owner. The bottom bracket was checked when replacing the chain and is incredibly smooth. Both wheels are straight and true and headset bearings are smooth also. The addition of the new cables, makes shifting a breeze whether shifting up or down through the gears. The drivetrain components are in great condition and will not need to be replaced anytime soon. It will also be sent heavily bubble wrapped as I know this is going to be someone’s pride and joy. The bike is also available for collection within the IG7 area (just within the M25). A receipt will be provided also.
