Here we have for sale a classic vintage Raleigh road ace racing bike, the bike is in excellent condition for its age. The bike has been sympathetically restored, I have painted the main tubes with a colour that matched the original that was a very light silver with a Pearl tint and not a flat white like some of the road aces out there, all the blue accents on the bike are the original colour. The bike is fitted with the classic Shimano 600 group set which was typical of a bike from this period. The bike was used in the late 80s and early 90s mainly for Time Trials and is still fitted with the classic straight through block, the bike is a very smooth and responsive ride and everything works well. I have fitted some lovely clean Michelin white wall tyres 700x23c. The bike has been fully serviced and fitted with all new cables.
