Genesis croix de fer 853 frame upgraded with the CGR1 fork. Its fluorescent red, the photos make it look redder than it is but its got a really nice orangey tinge to it, its really very bright. Size is medium, Id say its somewhere between a 54 and a 56. My race bike is a 54 but its a lot more compact than this one, the cdf is long and roomy. I bought the very light weight cgr1 fork for it because the standard ones weigh a ton. My build was just under 10kg. I built it during lockdown as a do it all road bike but I got so carried away on the other components Ive decided to reframe the bike with a titanium one as its become a bit of a bike for life. Condition wise its very good. Its got quite a bit of heli tape on it to protect the paint where the bags went and where the cables would have rubbed. There is a small rub mark on the top tube which I did with a frame bag before I fitted the tape. There are also a few stone chips on the head tube and on the down tube, finally there are a few marks under the chainstay from fitting wheels. But Im being picky its been incredibly well looked after. It comes supplied with 12mm bolt through axles, a shimano bottom bracket (ultegra) and a deda zero100 seatpost in black on black which unfortunately got a bit scratched thanks to my dad not tightening the bolts up properly and sitting on it! All parts fitted to it are well greased and not stuck. Comes with brand new headset bearings. There is an expansion plug fitted to the steerer and I ran it with 20mm of spacers. So onto price, well the frame was 999 and the forks were 350, the current model will cost you even more. There are some frame deals around now on the older stock if you can find your size but the forks are not standard so you are still looking at about a grand. With that in mind I think 800 is reasonable with the post and BB rest assured It will be sent in a frame box and cocooned in bubble wrap. Hope the next owner enjoys it as much as I have.
