Cube Peloton road bike, 2014 model, high-spec Shimano 105 components, suit rider 5 8 to 5 10. I bought an ex-display frame with a view to building it up myself into the bike you see in the pictures. Without the correct tools and knowledge, this was more difficult than I imagined, so after much cursing and throwing of tools, the bike was built up by Pearsons in East Sheen, London SW14. Just to be awkward, Cube measures its frames differently from most all other bike manufacturers. I didnt know this when I bought the frame. It says its a 56cm. Its too small (closer to 54cm in standard sizing) which is part of the reason its for sale. The other reason is I have too many bikes and the shed is only so big. The frame is aluminium. There is small stone chip on the forks and a pressure dink on the underside of the down-tube. Ive tried to photograph this and probably failed. Its in a location thats only really visible if you turn the bike upside down, which, as we know you should NEVER do. The frame came without forks and although the forks on the bike are from a Cube Peloton, they are from a bike with a different colour scheme – still red, white and black, so they look okay, but while the forks are mostly white, the frame is mostly black. Some Pelotons are fitted with crap components. This isnt one of them. I bought most of them from another ebayer whod bought a new Cube Peloton but decided to upgrade to Shimano Ultegra almost straight away. So everything was virtually new when I bought it. As is, the bike weighs 9.25kg. Pedals are not included. FSA Gossamer chainset 50/34 with 172.5mm cranks. 10-speed Shimano CS5700 rear cassette 11/28. Shimano 105 medium cage rear mech. Shimano 105 front mech. Shimano 105 brakes front and rear. 1x Shimano 105 shifter, 1x Shimano Ultegra shifter (upgrade after argument with wall), new bar tape also. Shimano RS 330 wheelset 700c. Continental Grand Prix 4-Season tyres 25mm. 3T ARX bar clamp. Race Face seat post, BBB clamp. Selle Italia X1 saddle. Shimano Ultegra SM FC 6600 bottom bracket.
